Our microbe rich soil amendment is a carefully crafted and aged compost, curated on 15 acres in Poway California. It is lab tested to verify an abundance of active fungal hyphae, living protozoa, and other beneficial microbes, which are critical to the nutrient cycling process for all your plants.
Our soil amendment does not look like traditional compost, because it is not screened or sifted before we ship it. We know that the screening and sifting process will kill a lot of the living microbes, so we intentionally do not process the compost before we package it. The compost is aged in a cool, damp, resting state for 3-6 months and it is ideal for adding to your soil to improve both microbe diversity and organic matter.
We bag the compost only weeks before we ship it, or you pick it up, so it is fresh. We recommend you use the compost within a few weeks and to keep it in a cool damp location if possible and treat it like a bag of living organisms.
